i've spent 10 years finding stories nobody else will tell and making them matter. i also help institutions communicate better. sometimes those are the same job.
i've spent the past decade at the intersection of journalism, media development, and strategic communications — always in service of stories and institutions that matter. i've built documentary platforms from zero to 10M+ views, managed €200K+ grant portfolios for independent journalism, trained journalists on three continents, and advised embassies and UN agencies on how to communicate in complex political environments.
i'm based between sarajevo and amsterdam. i speak 6 languages. i'm equally comfortable in a boardroom presenting to a USAID mission director and on a dirt road with a camera documenting something nobody's ever filmed before.
right now i'm building sarajevo debates and actively looking for the next project that's worth doing.

bosnia's first multimedia mentorship platform combining public debates, documentary production, and media literacy. developed the entire curriculum, put together a star team of mentors (dr. jasmin mujanović, dr. dženeta karabegović, dr. harun karčić), built the site and graphic identity. partnerships with EU Delegation, dutch embassy, OSCE, and Humanity in Action.
strategic frameworks and data-driven approaches that transformed media organisations across bosnia. achieved 150% engagement increase and 50%+ pageview growth across 8 partner outlets. managed €200K innovation grant portfolio. returned by invitation to lead USAID-funded programme after previous success.
co-founded bosnia's first digital-first documentary startup. balanced revenue-generating work with social impact stories while producing content for UN, EU, and al jazeera balkans. pioneered sponsored content in digital-first storytelling formats in the region. grew to 10M+ views before our time there ended.
co-founded first-of-its-kind journalism training for female journalists from the MENA region. organised workshops on trauma reporting and digital security in berlin and amman. connected 50+ journalists across europe and the middle east. partnered with the International Women's Media Foundation and German Foreign Ministry.
press & cultural affairs officer managing media relations and EU strategic communications for dutch bilateral relations in BiH. built digital engagement platforms reaching 50K+ gen-Z users. coordinated high-level diplomatic visits, media freedom initiatives, and civil society partnerships.
from documenting palestinian bird catchers to an 83-year-old bosnian rally driver, to filming genocide survivors — i find the stories nobody else will, and make them matter to audiences who wouldn't otherwise see them.
